Products & ServicesTo best meet the needs of our clients, JobTime5 Production Scheduling Software now supports five product levels, Level-1 through Level-5. Existing JobTime5 clients still using our older 4-Level system of JobTime5 can now upgrade to the current version as part of their annual maintenance renewal rights, at no additional charge. These five product levels help clients select the best features to fit their own specific needs. Each level allows a set of optional additional features, which can enable the modeling more demanding scheduling requirements, if more advanced scheduling requirements arise for your company in the future. Our 5-Level concept allows companies with simple needs to buy only the features they need, and to later upgrade to a higher level and select required optional features, when needed and justified. Our lowest level JobTime5 products let us welcome newcomers, especially small manufacturing companies who might not even have acquired an ERP, but recognize that effective scheduling is a strategic requirement for their business success. At any JobTime5- Product Level you may select, you can rest assured in the wisdom of your JobTime5 selection, with built-in protection when your company growth, partnerships, requirements change, you will be able to preserve your scheduling investment to-date, and conveniently migrate to a higher and more powerful JobTime5 Product-Level whenever the need may arise in the future. JobTime5 - Infrastructure - JobTime5 FrameworkThe JobTime5 Infrastructure is a solid framework of user interface, scheduling, reporting, schedule board, and integration features. This JobTime5 technology gives reliable support to every JobTime5 product level. The general infrastructure includes the user interface, scheduling features, reporting features, schedule board features, and integration features for Import/Export data from/to a host ERP system. Click to see the full details of the JobTime5 Infrastructure, to confirm, that even at Level-1, you will receive a fully-featured and comprehensive finite-scheduling application. Please click on the indicated product levels below to learn more details on each JobTime-5 product-level:JobTime5 - Level 1 - Single Constraint Scheduling - BasicLevel-1 is the only required level, because it includes the essential infrastructure for every level. Other Levels can be added as desired and needed. Levels can be skipped, and need not be added in a cumulative manner. This flexibility assures that you need not pay for features or functionalities you do not require. Level 1 starts with basic machine scheduling.JobTime5 - Level 2 - Single Constraint Scheduling - AdvancedLevel 2 adds the more advanced machine-scheduling features by recognizing explicit work-stations in each work center. Optional features at Level-2 let you add preferred station constraints, setup-matching options, and/or secondary resources with infinite capacity. The Preferred Station constraint lets you limit tasks to be done on limited subset of a work-center's full set of work-stations. Setup matching recognized exact part-based matches, or any other trait defined in setup-code field provided. More advanced setup-matching is achieved by selecting the option with a matrix of from-to Setup times to truly optimize your setup changeover efficiency. Secondary resources with infinite capacity lets you to model demand for labor or consumables and implied demands (peaks and troughs over time), to help you anticipate labor and/or material peaking requirements over time. Setup efficiencies sharply boost your shop-output per labor-hour. JobTime5 - Level 3 - Multi-Resource Finite Constraint SchedulingIn Level-3 you can add finite-capacity secondary resource constraints most commonly for labor or tools. But you can even also specify additional finite-constraints such as floor-space, electric power or emissions, if your scheduling needs to recognize such constraints. For labor, the most commonly used secondary resource constraint, labor can be defined as a "pool" of a given number of people of a given skill (mechanics, service workers, operators, pickers, finishers, etc.) Level-3's optional features include resource-groups: for labor these are skill-groups; for tools these are tool-groups. Defining a group of operators which can attend multiple machines concurrently is also an optional feature in our Level-3 Product. JobTime5 - Level 4 - Bill of Work Orders - Assembly StructuresIn Level-4 you can add assembly-link constraints to insure that a given structure of work orders which assemble according to a BOM are scheduled in a feasible sequence. Typical many-to-one BOM style links are supported in the basic Level-4 product. An optional feature in Level-4 is to support is to also represent 'one-to-many' situations. An example is making a large batch of parts, where that order supplies multiple dependent work orders which will consume the output of the 'batch-order'. JobTIme5 schedules recognize defined links between work-orders, and insure they are performed in the defined sequence. There are many other cases (e.g. supply chain scheduling) where sequencing parts from other sources using explicit sequence-links is extremely powerful way to create schedule visibility in a global manufacturing organization. JobTime5 - Level 5 - Materials Based SchedulingLevel-5 adds material constraints to help you be certain that work orders are never scheduled to start if essential raw materials are not on hand in inventory. In case you are out of stock, Level-5 will cause impacted work-orders to be delayed properly. If you have implemented Level-4, your custom import will add one 'PO Job', a work order representing a PO for the missing item, based on that item's lead-time, and each 'PO Job' will be linked to the relevant Work-Order. This will cause the Work Order to not be released, until the longest lead-time of the missing raw-material items. At the end of scheduling each missing from starting by at least the longest purchasing lead-time for missing parts. One optional feature is to add even greater visibility to the logistics of supplied raw materials over time. Level-5 supports two materials based options to recognize currently open-purchase orders per item. Material supplies and how they are consumed, can be scheduled either statically or dynamically. In the static case, material allocation peggings from your ERP's MRP system dictate which orders get which quantities. In the dynamic case, JobTime5 itself calculates material receipts and issues dynamically over the schedule horizon. The results can provide powerful help to materials planning, by pin-pointing finite-capacity based net-requirements, and their adjustments to planned future orders. This insures avoidance of stock-outs, and is supported by finite-capacity based multi-resource scheduling, an ideal marriage between JobTime5's powerful Advanced Planning & Scheduling and traditional ERP material planning. This level is often tailored to specific client needs to best meet their required scope to accurately schedule corporate-wide supply chains. We also supply multiple scheduling-related services including systems analysis, modeling, integration specification, training, startup/go-live support, report tailoring and on-going ROI Analysis throughout the entire life-cycle of your JobTime5 Production Scheduling Application.
