JSI is pleased to announce the release of JobTime 5 Production Scheduling Software, an significant advance over our prior JobTime4 product. In order to allow our clients to better select the best set of features that fits their needs, we offer four levels of JobTime5. Level 1 starts basic machine scheduling including preferred stations and setup-matching options in our basic Level 1 version. Level 2 provides both elementary constraint on secondary resources (labor and/or tooling), and an optional advanced features to define labor-skill groups and/or tool-groups. Level 3 synchronizes assemblies, optimizing the production schedule of assembly jobs. Each higher level adds a set of additional features, correlated to more demanding scheduling requirements. Our 4-Level concept allows companies with simple needs to buy only the features they need, and to later upgrade to a higher level when needed and justified. The higher level versions allow us to support newcomers to scheduling but to also serve the needs of the most demanding scheduling applications.
