The user interface of JobTime5 has been crafted to look and feel nearly identical to Microsoft Outlook. If you are a user of MS-Outlook for your e-mail, you already know how to use most of JobTime5 :
Intuitive screens let you maintain work centers, resources, routings, orders, calendars, resources, customers and inventory quickly and efficiently. Training and interface is a breeze, due to native SQL Server accessing and connectivity with other client/server systems including Oracle, DB2 and even Microsoft Access.
The following screen shows the order screen with a grid of detailed operations. Each operation can be double clicked (in the software, not in this picture), to display a detailed operation screen.

JobTime5 automatically imports data sets from JobTime4, just as JobTime4 imported data from JobTime Plus. Now released and shipping, existing JobTime Plus and JobTime4 clients are entitled to upgrade to JobTime5 at no additional software charge. Your investment in data, training and integration with any prior version of JobTime scheduling is safe and preserved! Our services to port your data and teach you the new features and the full use of JobTime5 are additional.
Training and Interface
The time required JobTime to interface to a host ERP system is measured in days to weeks, not months. JobTime Plus and JobTime4 clients who upgrade to JobTime5 can import their data immediately. Unlike ERP installations, this means that our clients can expect their JobTime5 training and implementation to be about equal to their typical annual software license renewal budget. With JobTime5 , you can expect full implementation within 2 to 3 weeks, assuming the active and steady participation by your in-house staff.
Reports
JobTime5 uses Seagate Crystal Reports and Seagate Info, the world's leader in report generation and deployment. The Seagate technology gives you basic reports, and allows your users to customize and build additional queries and reports as needed. You can preview data, create custom queries, automatically schedule unattended reports across your network or intranet, using standard print output, HTML web pages, or downloadable Adobe PDF files.
Add Supply Chain support by allowing your vendors to have secured access to your intranet to review your latest projected material needs, because JobTime5 can tie materials usage to your finite capacity production schedule. Push the Supply Chain even farther by allowing your customers to review their orders, and even the current and projected stage of progress in the production process. Avoid countless phone calls from customers asking "Where's my order located in your shop" by making their order status information available over the web. Password protection and encryption will protected and limit only approved customers and vendors to view your link in the overall supply chain.
Capacity Modeling
JobTime5 starts with all the advanced scheduling features and concepts of JobTime Plus, but is 100% re-written, from the ground up, using the latest development technologies. JobTime5 adds a new paradigm for flexibility to model both machine and resource details. JobTime5 sees not only work centers with their respective work stations, but it can also model, separately, a system of resources and resource-groups. Resources can be defined in hierarchies and grouping of resources. Resources can be tools, floor space, operators, inspectors. Groups can either be collections of a single resource, or even a mix of resources. In addition to a work center, a given "crew" of resources can be specified and referenced as the "crew" to use in one or more routing operation steps. Calendars can be assigned at any level: plant, work center, station, resource group, or resource.
